Twylah Marie Bacci

In loving memory of Twylah Marie Bacci, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who peacefully passed away on May 10th, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the age of 89. Twylah was born on September 11, 1934, in Batavia, Illinois, to John and Patricia Fry. She attended Batavia High School, graduating with the Class of 1952. It was at Northern Illinois University where she crossed paths with the love of her life, Frank. They embarked on a journey of love and companionship, exchanging vows on November 30th, 1957.
Their adventures led them across the country before they settled in Los Altos, California, in 1968, where they nurtured their family of six children. Twylah's unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she dedicated herself to serving her Catholic Parish community with grace and devotion. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she opened her heart and home to all who crossed her path, extending hospitality from Los Altos to NorthStar, Incline Village, Palm Desert, El Dorado Hills, and finally, Phoenix, Arizona. The Bacci household was always a beacon of warmth, with the welcome mat at every door.
Twylah is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Peter Bacci, and her grandson, Nicholas Bacci. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, cherished by her six children, sixteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren: Tim and Melissa Bacci (Hunter, Nicholas, Harrison, Hayden), Tom and Heather Bacci (Taylor, Tanner), Jeff and Penny Dodd, Ron and Patty DuHamel (Brooke, Dylan, Breana, Brigitte, Bryce), Ted and Carrie Bacci (Connor, Carlyn, Carson), and Tucker and Pam Hammargren (Asher, Tucker, Clay).
Though she may have departed from our sight, Twylah will forever reside in our hearts, her memory a source of comfort and inspiration. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of life will be on July 12th, 2024.
