Tyler was a plumbing apprentice and a dedicated member of the Christian faith, having given his life to Jesus in 2020. He enjoyed music, playing Magic: The Gathering, and cherished spending time with his family at the beach. He loved spending a lot of his time out doors camping, hiking, or just enjoying nature. He had the biggest smile and the most kind, caring personality.
He is survived by his father, Oscar Alvarez; mother and stepfather, Tammy and Sam Chiamis; sisters, Kara (Jeff) Winterstein and Chelsie Alvarez; brother, Riley Alvarez; grandmother, Anita Glentzer; grandfather, Paul (Gracie) Glentzer; and nephews and niece, Parker and Nolan Alvarez and Jack and Amelia Winterstein. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his best friend, Jordan Bragg.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by services at 2:00 PM at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, Indiana. Following the services all are welcome to gather at 1935 St. James Place, Anderson IN, 46012.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
Tyler will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in Heaven. www.loosecares.com.
