Accepting Christ, she was baptized at first Emmanuel Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. She was educated in the New Orleans Public School System and attended Alcee Fortier High School. After high school she decided to pursue a career in real estate. She dedicate many years to Parkway Reality. Tyra was well known for her strong work ethic and family values.
Our beloved was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Stella Parker, Isiah Tapp and Clara Gates, her brother Joseph Parker Jr and her brother-in-laws Anthony Harris and Lynn Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents Joseph and Annie Parker, her husband Howard Jaisingh, her children Taniesha (Calvin), Quendale, Briana, and Earl Parker, her honorary daughter Pinkie bonds, her brother Johnny Tapp, her sisters Karen Parker-Brown (Bryant), Gwendell Williams (Lynn), Tamara Parker (Anthony) along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, other relatives and friends.
