Una Marie (Kasterke) Rudolph, daughter of the late Charles Scott and Vesta Odette (Hosiner) Kasterke, was born December 3, 1938, in Cedar Gap, Missouri, and passed away January 10, 2025, at Glenwood Healthcare in Seymour, Missouri. She was 86 years, 1 month, and 7 days of age.
Una grew up in Cedar Gap and graduated from Seymour High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Gerald Laverne Rudolph on June 2, 1957. Four children were born to this union.
Una was a homemaker doing whatever was needed to take care of the family. She even helped with raising her grandchildren. She enjoyed fixing meals for her family and friends. Whenever you visited her, she always made sure there was plenty to eat. No one left her house hungry. Una and Gerald had a farm for many years, and she also helped Gerald with his auction company as cashier and putting up sale bills.
Una was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. After Gerald’s passing, she started attending Seymour Free Will Baptist Church. Una was a sweet and quiet lady that loved sewing and quilting. She enjoyed quilting with the Ladies Aid group.
Besides her parents, Una was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; son, Kevin Rudolph; daughter, Kelly Kellum; son-in-law, Melvin Kellum; grandson, Jeromy Rudolph; brother, Scotty Kasterke; and sister-in-law, Katie Cutbirth.
She is survived by two daughters, Gena Cooper and husband, Mike, and Lessli Pruett and husband, Paul; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Karen Rudolph; sister-in-law, Judy Kasterke; nine grandchildren, Christy O’Dell and husband, Scott, Shoji McGhee and wife, Leigh-Ann, Josh Kellum and wife, Chasten, Mike Cooper Jr, Zachary Thomas and wife, Heather, Mark Cooper and wife, Crystal, Whitney Thomas, Kaylee Terry and husband, Grant, and Shane Pruett and wife, Ellie; 15 great-grandchildren, Taylor Motyl and wife, Allysa, Trevor Motyl, Keegan O’Dell, Liam McGhee, Eva McGhee, Braylee Kellum, Braden Kellum, Hunter Thomas, Rowan Cooper, August Cooper, Gemma Cooper, McKenzie Johnson, Makayla Johnson, Brighton Terry, and Emmelyn Terry; one great-great grandson, Lucas Motyl; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
