V.J. Garmon Obituary
Mr. V. J. “Ron” Garmon age 93, of Albertville, Alabama, died on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at two o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Wayne White and Bro. Donald Cotten officiating. Interment will follow in the Douglas Cemetery. A visitation will be on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Garmon was born in Crossville, Alabama on March 27, 1932, to Willis Andrew & Flora Mae Beasley Garmon. He was a 1951graduate of Boaz High School, and an proud Navy Veteran serving from January 1951 until December of 1954. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Howard College and was a banker until his retirement.
Mr. Garmon is survived by Wife: Donnie Pair Garmon of Albertville, Son: Todd & Lisa Garmon, Daughter: Paige & David Toole, Bonus children: Greg & Donna Pair, David & Kristi Pair, Jon & Christy Pair, and Brooke & Shayne Walker, Sister: Cynthia and Mike Harper, Sister-in-Law: Connie & Bill Hudgins, numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Eddie Porter, Shane Harper, Greg Bowling, Austin Bowling, James Bryant, and Jason Bryant., Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Karr, Carl Lamons, and Dr. Wayne Peters.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to either The Fellowship Church or Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
