In Loving Memory of Vadim Berenson
It is with deep sadness that we announce that on December 4th, 2024, Vadim Berenson, cherished husband, stepfather, and friend passed away.
Vadim was the beloved husband of Sonia and a devoted stepfather to Samuel. He brought immeasurable joy and wisdom to their lives, leaving behind countless memories filled with laughter, love, and warmth.
A man of extraordinary intelligence and quick wit, Vadim was admired for his sharp sense of humor and keen insights into life. He was also a gifted poet and scriptwriter whose words painted vivid pictures, evoked profound emotions, and inspired all who were fortunate to experience his work. His creativity and talent left a mark that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
Vadim will be remembered not only for his brilliance but also for his ability to connect with others, making each person he encountered feel valued and understood. His laughter, stories, and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
By Vadim Berenson:
I am floating in the boat
Far above the sky.
I'm writing you a note,
That I'm gonna die.
I will slowly disappear
In the darkened sky
I don't mind & I don't fear
Since I learned to fly.
Stars around, stars above me
Mark my Ionely road.
Winds with hands so warm and lovely
Slowly rock my boat.
They are playing with my hair
Toss my pain aside,
They are playing with my hair
Toss my pain aside,
They are singing: "Please, don't dare."
Beg me, - "Please don't write."
"We will carry you in darkness of the starry night
Best of lovers, best of partners,
Best of friends - don't write.
We will cure away your pain
Help you to forget."
Their voices die in vain,
Cause I'm writing yet
How I'm floating in the sphere of the starry sky,
How I'm writing with no fear, that I'm gonna die.
