Vanessa & I were always teasing each other over UofM & OSU. I sent her this pic of my dog after texting her I was so sad as I had to call ASPCA due to a cruelty of animal case. She LOL & took the prank in her usual sense of humor & joy.
Vanessa´s beauty inside & out captured a room! I loved watching her grow into an amazing partner @ EY. Much to her family & may her joy of life confront you in your grief...today I to you V"

I am so sad and shaken to hear about the passing of Vanessa. I was unable to attend today, but wanted to express my deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. I was at U of M at the same time as Vanessa, but we didn´t meet until later in life. We instantly connected over our love of U of M. She was a force to be reckoned with while at the same time always remaining humble and kind. Her love of life was contagious as was her commitment to doing good and what´s right. I am deeply saddened by this loss and send my love to her family and children. She will never be forgotten.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear about this great loss in Vanessa, who was a beautiful, so smart, vibrant, and kind human on all levels. I had the privilege of meeting and knowing Vanessa through her brother Nathan, and was always appreciative for how she always respected me, and treated me like true family. To her beautiful children, to Nathan / Denise, and to her entire extended family, I truly have you all in my closest thoughts and prayers right now.

We graduated high school with Vanessa, and I had the privilege of playing softball with her. She was always so positive, full of life, and such a joy to be around. I´m truly in awe of all that she accomplished and the many lives she touched along the way. What she achieved in her lifetime is extraordinary and so inspiring. There truly seemed to be nothing she couldn´t do. My heart goes out to all her family and friends during this difficult time.

Vanessa you´re a force of nature. The type of leader that anyone would want to follow. A winner and a person who genuinely cares for others. Fearless mother. Faithful friend. You shook the world and your early death shakes us.

My heart aches for you and your family, Nate. Vanessa's sudden passing is such a shock, and I can only imagine the pain you're all going through.
The warmth and kindness she extended to me whenever I had the pleasure of being in her company - whether at her home or at a gathering - truly made me feel like family. She had such a wonderful and welcoming spirit.
Vanessa will be deeply missed, and I will always cherish those memories. Sending you strength and peace during this incredibly difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy,

Vanessa, the Copper Mug Softball team and all the players really enjoyed your company at our Wednesday night games. You will always be remembered as our #1 fan who cheered us on to victory and who took score at a moments notice. Your smiling face, kindness, and generosity to us all will forever be embedded in our hearts.

My dear daughter Vanessa, words cannot express the pain of losing you. From birth and throughout your life you excelled at anything you put your mind to with determination. There are so many memories that I cherish and Dad did as well. I am so proud of all your lifelong accomplishments and your dedication as a mother to Cameron and Bradley is unmatched. May God grant you eternal love for in heaven. I know that Dad, Granny and Grampa were there to welcome you. I will love you and miss you forever. Love, Mom

The last several months I have never seen Vanessa look so beautiful and radiant. All her Facebook posts where filled with exciting photos of her kids, attending sporting events, galas, charity events, dinner celebrations with friends and the best was when she recently took her 13-year old daughter Cameron for her birthday on a private helicopter tour of downtown Detroit. The smiles were incredible. I have never seen Vanessa look so absolutely stunning and radiant. She lived life to the fullest and her Spirit will continue to soar and her legacy lives on.

Vanessa was a remarkable individual who seamlessly blended the roles of a supportive mentor-friend and a dedicated leader. Her presence enriched both my personal and professional life in countless ways. Vanessa was one of the smartest people I met in the business world whose ability to creatively solve challenging problems, win deals, and leadership contributions were truly remarkable. I met Vanessa as an MBA student at Michigan Ross when she was a Partner at EY. I went on to work together with her across multiple consulting engagements.
I will particularly cherish the memory of her trust in my skills and talent to lead multi million dollar Medicare Stars service line during my management consulting days, and her insightful advice on the health plans industry.
Beyond the workplace, Vanessa was a true friend - someone whose infectious enthusiasm, compassionate heart, and multi faceted talents made every interaction a joy. I will forever treasure the memories of her impact on me and the entire healthcare industry.
Not many people know this but Vanessa was also a pilot, a podcast host, and an author.
This sudden loss serves as a poignant reminder of how precious and fragile life truly is. While the pain of her absence is immense, I find solace in the countless beautiful memories we shared and the indelible mark she left on my life and the lives of so many others.
My deepest condolences go out to Vanessa´s family. Her memory will live on in my heart forever, a testament to the wonderful person she was. I will miss Vanessa dearly.
In profound grief,
Danish
