Vickey Navarette Obituary
Eduvijes "Vickey" C. Navarette, 70, of Pecos, Tx., passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at her residence. Vickey was born on December 20, 1953 to Jose Castillo and Olga Carrasco Castillo in Pecos, Tx. Vickey attended school in Pecos, Tx. Vickey was married to Gregorio Navarrete for 53 yrs. She worked for the Food Service for many years. Vickey was a life time Pecos resident and a Guadalupana and a Catholic teacher for the Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church.
Vickey is preceded in death by her parents; Jose and Olga C. Castillo, and brother; Oscar, Juan and Jose Castillo.
Vickey is survived by her spouse Gregorio Navarrete, sons; Greg Navarette III., Edward Navarette, Jay Navarette, and Oscar Navarette, Sisters; Alma Garcia and Sandra Galindo, 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Javi Navarette, Jesse Navarette, Kenny Rayos, Alex Garcia, Greg Navarette IV., and Max Navarette.
Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 11 am to 9 pm., with Rosary at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Catherine's Catholic Church on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 10 am with Interment following at Greenwood Cemetery.
