Vickie Helander Rhoads

Vickie Helander Rhoads, 80, resident of Stoney Point and wife of Brian "Kent" Rhoads, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born July 31, 1945, in Augusta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Grace Holmes Helander. She was a graduate of St. Andrews High School and The College of Charleston and retired from Kaiser Aluminum.
Vickie dearly loved her family and was a member of the Stoney Point Bridge Club.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years; two sons, Brian Bell (Julie) of Charleston and Michael Bell of Greer; a daughter, Tracy Leigh Bell of Greenwood; grandchildren, Chandler Scott, Evan Scott, Darren Scott Jr., Jacy Anderson, Chris Bell, Logan Bell (Madison), Tori Ott (William), and Trey Alexander; and great-grandchildren, Montgomery, Madison, John Sindy, Harrison Ott, Easton Alexander, Cohen Bell, Lilli, and Madi Taylor.
She is also survived by her stepchildren, Brian Rhoads (Cindy) of Lexington, NC, Matthew Rhoads (Pam) of Florence, Kelly Nota (Jason) of Jamestown, NC, Cherlyn Street (Aaron) of San Antonio, TX, and Ashley Rhoads, along with several step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Terri Bell Newton, and granddaughter, Tabitha Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends following the service.
