Victor B. Pizzoferrato

Victor Bruno Pizzoferrato, 63, of Rocky Hill, passed peacefully into eternal rest on March 1, 2025, at Hartford Hospital after a long illness. He was the son of the late Vincenzo and Maddalena (Tedeschi) Pizzoferrato. Born in Hartford in 1962, Victor resided in Newington for most of his life. Growing up, he was an esteemed Eagle Scout and enjoyed working on automobiles. Victor attended Newington Public Schools, graduated from E.C. Goodwin Tech and obtained a degree from Porter Chester Institute as an Automotive Mechanic & Diesel Specialist. He had been employed by Food Mart and was a Certified Auto Technician at Firestone, Axelrod Tire, K-Mart Auto Service Center and Corbin Ave Shell Station.
Besides his parents, Victor was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony J. Pizzoferrato and James M. Pizzoferrato; his baby sister, Mary Ellen Pizzoferrato; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Victor is survived by his brother, Vincent Pizzoferrato and his wife Suzanne (Ciemier); his two nieces, Rebecca and Heather; and his nephew, Brian, all of Newington, CT; his sister-in-law, Ann (Christensen) Pizzoferrato and niece Teresa Pizzoferrato of Orange City, FL; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Victor's memory will be cherished by all who loved him.
Calling hours will be Friday, (March 7) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. A Funeral Service will be 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, (March 8), at the funeral home, followed by interment at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
