Victor H. "Boo Boo" Sherrick III

Victor H. "Boo Boo" Sherrick, III, passed away on April 1, 2023, in his home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Victor was a 1992 graduate of Springfield High School and was employed at Mondelez International, as a maintenance worker. In his spare time, Victor liked going fishing, and even ice fishing, with his children and family. To wind down, he loved spending time camping with his sister, brother-in-law, and lifelong friends. He also enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially the Detroit Lions. Victor was known for his quick wit, humor, dependability, and being such a genuine friend, and family member. Most of all, Victors biggest accomplishment in life was being a father. He cherished the time and memories spent with his children and wouldn't trade that for anything. He was the best father, brother, son, uncle, and friend to all. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Victor H. Sherrick, III, was born on April 29, 1973, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Victor H. and Barbara (Kurek) Sherrick, Jr.,
Left to cherish his memory include his son, Maxzwell Sherrick; parents, Victor Jr., and Barbara Sherrick; sister, Angie (Rick) Courtney; nieces and nephews, and many, many, close family friends. Victor is preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Sherrick.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 2:00-8:00PM, at Walker Funeral Home- Holland-Springfield, Airport Highway. Visitation will continue Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 10:00-11:00AM, with a funeral service following. Burial will take place at Springfield Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate, contributions are suggested to the family to offset funeral expenses. Walker Funeral Homes have been entrusted with making arrangements.
