Victoria Ann Grosklos, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on June 3rd, 1946, in Marietta, Ohio, Vicky was a cherished resident of Lowell, Ohio, where she lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends.
Vicky was the devoted wife of Larry Grosklos, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage of nearly 59 years, having wed on October 23rd, 1966. Together, they built a loving family, including their daughter, Peggy Barker (Craig), and son, Patrick Grosklos (Michelle). Vicky was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Jacob Barker (Abby), Lindsey Barker, Lydia Barker (Cole Shilling), Nicholas Grosklos (Makayla), and Carly Grosklos. She also delighted in her role as a great-grandmother to Adah Faith Barker. She is survived by her special friends, Donna Polen, Betty Watson, and Kay Housley, as well as her cherished kitty, Baby.
Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, George Henry Bohl and Ruth Geneva Hayes Bohl and brother, Harold Ray Bohl.
A graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1964, Vicky went on to have a fulfilling career as an Administrative Assistant. She retired in 2013 from River Cities Financial Services/Dietz Futrell Walters Insurance Company, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.
Vicky had a passion for camping, sewing, and cooking, especially for church camp, where she shared her talents and love with many. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was an active member of her church community.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Vicky's life at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home in Marietta, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the same location, with Tony Simon officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Twin Rivers Baptist Church Camp Fund or Missions Fund, 110 DAV Road, Whipple, Ohio 45788, in Vicky's memory.
