Vincent R. Bondi

Vincent R. Bondi of Danbury, CT and formerly of Mahopac, NY passed away suddenly on July 1, 2025 with his family by his side; he was 59 years young. He was born on February 14, 1966 in the Bronx, son of Patrick and Catherine (née Miller) Bondi. On June 29, 1991 he married Virginia Rizza in Yonkers, NY and they relocated to Mahopac to start their family.
Vincent worked for the Carpenter's Union, Local 279 out of Westchester. He was a loving father and husband, and a man of simple pleasures. Rarely would you see him without his furry companion, Bella Marie, whom he considered his 3rd child.
Vincent is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Virginia, his son Vincent and his wife Nicole, with his first grandchild on the way, and his son Jonathan and his fiancée Melanie Jelen. He is also survived by his two sisters, and Virginia's family with whom he shared a special bond.
All are welcome to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, July 6th from 1PM -5PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY. A prayer service will be held at 4:30PM during the visitation, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
