He was born November 23, 1960 in Lancaster Ohio and was the son of the late Charles Roy Strosnider and Norma Jean (Shugert) Strosnider. He was also preceded in death by his 6-yr old sister, his special aunt Carolyn Margaret Miller, and his treasured rescue kitties Queaky, Sparky, Barney and Sonny.
Vinny was a Born Again Christian. Earlier in his life he went on a mission trip to Israel and was a bold witness for Jesus Christ. He valued the Christian ministries of John Wimber, John Paul Jackson and Andrew Wommack
In 2003 Vinny started his mobile business, “Mobile Tech Corporation”. For 20 years Vinny expertly repaired and reconditioned the interiors of vehicles for central Ohio auto dealerships and body shops. He later became an Associate at Menard’s home improvement store in Lancaster, OH.
Vinny was a Scuba Diver Instructor, an Amateur Astronomer and an eBirder. He was interested in Wild birds, Scuba, Astronomy, History, Writing, Action Movies, Cave Diving, and Turkey Hunting.
Vinny is survived by good friends Ted Stephens, Lois McDonald and Tina Ellis, cousin Diana Miller of Florida, and many friends from Menard’s as well as eBird and Facebook birder friends. Vinny is also survived by his beloved kitty, Bobby.
I, Ted Stephens, will miss our trips across the state searching for rare birds, hunting for wild turkeys. And spending time with my 20+ years friend. R.I.P. I, Lois McDonald, thank the Lord for bringing Vinny across my life’s path 18 years ago. I will miss our shared loves of Jesus Christ, cats, and photography. And, I will miss going on adventures to find wild birds, gazing at the night sky through telescopes and binoculars and just hanging out together.
