Vi was born in Hudson, WI on January 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Angelo and Philomena Richie. She loved playing bingo. Vi loved to read books. She also enjoyed sitting on the couch watching her favorite tv shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Vi was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
Preceding Vi in death were her husband Cruz Padilla; son Philip Padilla; granddaughter Angela Ward; brother Paul Richie and three sisters Carmella, Virginia and Marie.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Juanita Allmon and her husband Jon and Carmella Armstrong and her husband Terry; two sons Anthony Padilla and Angelo Padilla and his wife Christine; six grandchildren Tera, Renote, Kim, Sam, Nicolas and Wade; five great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and sister Ann Batson and her husband Mike.
A private service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
