Virgil L. Slayback

Virgil L. Slayback, age 91, of Danville passed away on February 7, 2025 in his residence. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on August 28, 1933 to John W. and Lavinia Kerns Slayback. He was the widower of Sarah Slayback.
Virgil drove a milk truck for Stephenson Brothers in Union, Kentucky for several years and worked in maintenance at Prestwick Golf Course and Oak Tree Golf Course before his retirement. Virgil enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. A memorial service will be held a later date.
Survivors include his children: Debi Driver (Lynn) and David Slayback (Darlene). He was preceded in death by a grandson David Slayback Jr.
A celebration of life will be held at Oak Tree Golf Course at a later date.
Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield is handling cremation arrangements.
