Vivian Gioia, 73, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Merion Gardens Assisted Living Facility. Vivian was born on August 26, 1951, in Woodbury, New Jersey to the late Vincent Gioia and Anna Delprete LaSpina. She was the second oldest of seven children. Vivian was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Although she was born in New Jersey, Vivian spent most of her adult life in St. Petersburg, Florida. Then in June of 2020 she returned to her home to be closer to her family. Vivian is survived by her siblings, Vince Gioia (Nancy), Donna Micallef (Joe), David Gioia (Candy), Robert Gioia, Denise Gioia, Ron Gioia (Jacqueline) and her grandchildren Jackson and Aubry DeMayo. Along with her parents, Vivian was predeceased by her son Matthew George DeMayo. Services will be private, but the family asks in lieu of flowers for donations to be made in the name of Vivian to the Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer's Association P.O.
