Wallace Preston Irle Jr.

Mr. Wallace Preston Irle, Jr., age 64, passed away on November 13, 2023. Mr. Irle was born December 29, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, to Wallace Preston Irle, Sr., and Ruby Mann Irle. Wally, as he was known, appreciated the simple things of life: having morning coffee with his mother, sitting with the grandchildren as they played, watching old westerns. He especially liked listening to his music (the Beatles, Tom Petty) and making music himself, being a gifted, self-taught guitar player. Wally loved the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. But most of all, Wally loved his family fiercely. Family lived close by where he was surrounded by his mother and his siblings and children and grandchildren every day, who are left to carry on. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Home South. His graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Burial Park South with Rev. Kay Johnson officiating.
