Walter G., Jr., 64, of East Rutherford, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Walter was a proud and loyal fan of the NY Giants. He worked as a Warehouse Supervisor before going back to school for Medical Billing and Coding. Before retiring, Walter was an Insurance Adjuster for St. Claire's Hospital and was well known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Walter was the cherished husband of Patricia (nee Kiernan). Beloved father to daughters Valerie Paquette, Shana Frazier, and stepdaughter Nicole Chisholm. Treasured grandfather to Emily, Landon, and Laurel. Walter was also a dear brother to Andrea Haas-Way and her wife Renee, and Lawrence Haas and his wife Nicole, as well as an uncle to Drew, Adler, Rene, Anthony, and Logan. He will be deeply missed by his loving cousins, Jeannette Toscano (nee Haas), and Nancy Murray (nee Haas). Walter was predeceased by his sisters Karen Patricia Haas and Toni Haas.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 5:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Walter's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, or online at www.cancer.org/givehope.

I met Walter in the early 2000´s.
We shared a passion for dart shooting and played each other on Fridays on a regular basis.
We were also teammates in several leagues. It was always a good time hanging out with him.

Walter was a good man and a good friend, and will be missed.

Sorry for your loss Patty.
