Walter P. "Skip" Linn, 88, of Loxahatchee, FL, formerly of Hookstown, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 in Florida.
Walter was born on January 8, 1937 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Walter P. and Florence Driebert Linn Sr.
Skip was a retired shipping foremen for Weirton Steel and a member of Valley Presbyterian Church and Palms West Presbyterian.
Mr. Linn was a two-time past Master of the Carnegie Masonic Lodge. He was a dedicated member and enjoyed the fellowship the Lodge provided. Skip greatly enjoyed the outdoors whether it be gardening or searching for the perfect spot in the creek or his time in the woods. Above all, Skip loved his family. They were first and foremost and his whole life was dedicated to being the best husband, father and grandfather he could be. He was a family man and proud of that.
Surviving are his sons, Jeffrey (Geri) Linn, Dennis (Nancy) Linn and Patrick (Joan) Linn, grandchildren, Ryan (Diamond), Jeremiah (Lindsey), Lauren Linn, Stacey (Ryan) Dell, Adam (Meghan), Eric (Alex), Nicole Linn, Kristin Linn, Valen (William) Britton, and Lauren (Zach) Poland, and 12 great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Skip is preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice Adams Linn (2021), daughter-in-law, Kimberly Linn and siblings, Edward P. Linn and Clara Linn.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10 am – Noon at Thomas- Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 305 Main St., Imperial (724-695-2800). A Masonic Service will be held at 11 a.m. by Centennial-Lafayette Lodge No 544. A Service will be held following the visitation at Noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Masonic Homes Charity, Office of Mission Advancement and Development, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, in memory of Skip.
