Walt hired me at Husqvarna. I will never forget as we were going through the interview process, he asked if my wife and I wanted to go to breakfast. I remember not being sure what to think but went along with it.
The job that I had applied for required a bunch of travel. At the breakfast, Walt worked hard to reassure my wife that we would work to accommodate the travel and wanted to make sure she was comfortable.
I remember walking away from that breakfast thinking how great of a gesture that was. In my mind, it perfectly encapsulates who Walt was as a man: thoughtful, measured and sincere.
Walt was a great boss and mentor and it was always great to talk with him about our families or discuss his favorite topic: Alabama football.
You will be dearly missed.

Walt was an old high school & college friend. We lost touch after moving to distant career pursuits only to reconnect about 5 years ago. It´s impossible to describe what Walt meant as a friend. He was truly the person who would do anything to help others in need. I treasure each memory and his loyal friendship over the decades. Prayers and condolences to his family.

My sincere condolences to the Rose family. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Walt while at Husqvarna. He was one of the first sales team members I met. I respected his approach, his professionalism, and his ability to connect with people. I appreciated his honesty, I sought his feedback when I had some ideas or wanted the "give me the truth or reality". We established a quick friendship. Always a hard worker and can do attitude and always always working. Rest Walt

I met Walt through his work with Husqvarna and quickly came to respect him-not just for his professionalism, but for who he was as a person. Walt was hardworking, kind, and honest. You always knew where you stood with him, and I appreciated that. He was the kind of person you looked forward to working with and spending time around.
Walt left a strong impression on everyone he met, and I´m grateful I had the chance to know him. My thoughts are with his family during this time. He will be missed.

I met Walt very soon after working for Schneider Tree Care in 2014. Walt was always very kind and helpful, and I feel lucky to have been able to pick his brain from time to time at trade shows around the country or just in Charlotte. RIP Walt

I had the privilege of working with Walt over the past 25 years. He was well respected and such a humble man. He had the heart of a warrior and fought to the end. I'm sad he is gone but grateful he is no longer in pain. He loved his family dearly. I know he will be missed greatly here on earth but one thing is certain, I will see him again someday.
Deepest condolences and prayers for his family.

I had the privilege of working for Walt when he brought me on board at Husqvarna. His experience was invaluable, but what stood out even more was his genuine commitment to people. Always making a point to ask how my family was doing, this was a simple but meaningful gesture that spoke volumes about his character.
We enjoyed talking SEC football and with me being a Georgia Bulldog, he never missed an opportunity to give me a hard time about it. A rivalry I´ll truly miss. Thank you for the impact you had on my life, both professionally and personally. For you, Walt-Roll Tide.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Rose family.

To the family. I have so many great memories working with Walt. Walt was always a friend, a mentor, and a servant. He helped me so much while I was at Husqvarna. I was sad to learn of his passing. I immediately felt the loss. We would have breakfast in Huntersville, NC at Bob Evans on HWY 73 after meeting with customers. We would have laughs because I did something with my food, and I would say to him don't tell a soul and don't say anything. This is just one experience. He really cared about people, his family, and his team. He will be missed. My condolences.

I was very saddened to hear about Walt´s passing. Working with Walt in his and my early days at Husqvarna, I always remember Walt as the person willing to help or just willing to give sound advice to anyone. As I moved on from Husqvarna I lost touch with Walt, something I truly regret. I became acquainted with Walt again through my son Adam and was very grateful to Walt for giving Adam the opportunity to work for Husqvarna. Walt was a hardworking gentleman which Husqvarna was very fortunate to have on their staff.
May God Bless Walt and the Rose Family during these difficult times.

My deepest sympathies to Walt's family. I had the privilege of working with Walt for the last seven years at Husqvarna. Walt was a true gentleman. Always willing to help others and to lend his expertise and knowledge to those of us who were new to the OPE industry and Husqvarna. Walt and I had our ideological differences - he was an Alabama fan, and I am a Georgia Bulldog, but it was always in good fun. All of us at Husqvarna who were fortunate enough to know Walt will miss him greatly.
My sincere condolences to his family, I hope these messages are some comfort during this difficult time, showing the many people whose lives were touched in a positive way by his.

Walt was a dear friend of mine, and I will never stop missing him. His greatest pride was his family. He texted me the day he died asking me how I was doing without relating his condition. You are all in my heart.

I was fortunate enough to be office neighbors with Walt for a couple of years ant Husqvarna and had the pleasure to get to know him well during those years. We spent a lot of time talking about our families and kids, sharing experiences we faced as fathers as well as our love of college football. While I´m a Michigan Wolverine and he a die hard Alabama fan, we both respected each other´s passion for our beloved teams. I´ve spent the last few days reflecting on my experiences with Walt and am thankful for them. My prayers are with his family, which was his greatest joy in life.

I had the privilege of knowing Walt during my time at Husqvarna, and he was truly one in a million. Kind, generous, and always ready to lend a helping hand, Walt left a lasting impression on everyone around him. He often spoke about his family with such pride-it was clear how much he loved them.
When I received the news on Friday, it felt as if the world paused for a moment-that´s the kind of impact Walt had. Though I only knew him for a short time, I´m grateful for the memories and the lessons he shared.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Walt will be deeply missed.

Walt was a great inspiration to me, and as I moved throughout the organization, during my time here, I earned Walt's trust and friendship. I considered him a mentor, confidant, and I have never been prouder to refer to someone as a colleague as I was with Walt. He was kind, compassionate, caring and considerate, as well as having an abundance of knowledge. Walt's passing left a hole in the universe that can never be filled. If you were fortunate enough to have Walt in your life, for whatever reason, consider yourself blessed. Whe. I received the news of Walt's passing Friday, my heart broke. I was crushed. Walt I know you are now at peace, and God has a bigger role for you now. I am grateful and honored for the privilege to have known and worked with you. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Walt's entire family, thank you for sharing him with everyone's life he touched. Walt made a difference.

Walt was a blessing to many. I remember being at a trade show and sharing with Walt the weighty issues I was having with one of my teenage sons. Walt and a few other godly men surrounded me in prayer and support. Another dear memory I have of Walt is how years ago he led a salesman to Christ just days before his passing. Earth is shedding tears for this loss but heaven is rejoicing. I´m certain Walt was greeted with these words, "Well done my faithful servant." Dave and I send our deepest condolences to sweet Karen and family.

Walt's been a trusted Husqvarna business partner and good friend for over 20 years. His integrity, vision, and unwavering commitment have been key to many of our successes. It´s rare to find someone so reliable, talented, and dedicated-not just in business, but in life. I´m grateful for the partnership and the friendship we built over the decades. Will miss you greatly, but can take solace in knowing you´re now at peace and pain free.
Blessings to the entire Rose Family in this time of loss.
Roll Tide buddy.
