Walter Lonteryl "Lonnie" TOLES

Walter Lonteryl "Lonnie" Toles, 60, of Newton Falls, OH departed this life Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 3:22 p.m. at Franklin Medical Center, following complications from a short illness.

He was born March 5, 1965 in Warren, OH, the son of Theodore and Jean Bruton Toles Jr. He was a 1983 graduate of Labrae High School and attended Youngstown State University, where he played football.

Walter was employed with Trans American as a Truck Driver and enjoyed all sports, traveling, music, hunting, fishing and was an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan.

He leaves to mourn one son, Dominique Jerome (LaMea) Toles of Youngstown; five brothers, Theodore (Juanita) Toles III of Braceville Township, Nelson Toles of Warren, Leslie Toles of Braceville Township, Robert (Helen) Toles of Rapid City, SD and Larry (Lucy) Toles of Frederick, MD; two grandchildren, Quan'Trell Toles and Miss Chloe Toles; one aunt, Ms. Sylvia Bruton Austin of Youngstown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Evelyn Toles Lockett.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel, with Calling Hours from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Braceville Township Cemetery.
