Wanda J. Kleba

Wanda J. Kleba, 88 formerly of Ernest, died Thursday, October 5, 2023 while at St. Andrews Village. Born on June 17, 1935 in Allport, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Stefana (Przybylski) Govel. She was the wife of Michael Kleba, whom she married in 1972.
Wanda attended and graduated from Barnesboro High School and was a member of St. Jude of Thaddeus Byzantine Catholic Church in Ernest.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and always appreciated the care, devotion, and fellowship of the staff and residents at St. Andrew's Village. Though her days were spent at the Village, her exceptional memory never forgot a special date, event, or birthday.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Michael Kleba, of Ernest; children: Wanda M. Bacon, of Ernest; Michael A. Kleba (Nancy), of Bullskin Township; and David J. Kleba (Pamela), of Mars. She will be missed by her 4 grandchildren: Alexander M. Bacon, Camden M., Jacob D., and Logan A. Kleba. Wanda is also survived by her nieces and nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Edward and Blair Govel.
Friends will be received Tuesday, October 10th, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana. A Panachida service will begin at 9AM Wednesday morning at the funeral home. Divine Liturgy will follow at 10 AM at St. Anne's Byzantine Catholic Church in Clymer with Father Edward Pyo officiating. A Christian burial service will be held at Saint John's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Cambria.
In lieu of flowers, donations can lovingly be made to St. Andrew's Village in memory of Wanda Kleba.
