Wanda Sue "Suzzy" (Slagle) Kujawski, 74, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed from this life Friday, May 19, 2023, at NHC Healthcare Sparta.
Suzzy was born April 20, 1949, in Cookeville, Tennessee, to the late Rev. James Carson and Anna Del (Green) Slagle.
Suzzy was a member of Brotherton Free Will Baptist Church. She quickly found her place in this world as a devoted worker serving others. From working in health care facilities to the deli at Walmart, she cast a giant shadow from a small frame. Using a loving heart, quick wit, and faith in Jesus, she made friends wherever she landed.
Suzzy carried lifelong hobbies of bowling, international cuisine, movies, manicures, and T-Shirt & shoe collections, followed by a passion for wolves, & strawberry milkshakes, she personified happiness, fun, caring, and love.
She is survived by a depth of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Suzzy was preceded in death by her husband, Al Kujawski, brother Jimmy, and 2 Sisters Joann Lucas and Jean Dishman.
Funeral Service for Wanda Sue "Suzzy" (Slagle) Kujawski will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bros. Danny Lane and Michael Dishman officiating. Interment will follow in the Algood City Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
