Wanda Gail Wofford Lamb, widow of Claude Wayne Lamb, passed Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the age of 70. She was born in Spartanburg, SC on April 1, 1954 to Elizabeth Mary Stevens Wofford and the late Howard Allen Wofford.

Wanda retired after many years of service with the United States Postal Service, where she worked diligently as a carrier. Beyond her career, her true passion was her faith and her church, where she was an active and dedicated member. She found immense joy in worshiping as part of the church praise team. Above all, Wanda cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. 

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Saverance (Trent) of Columbia and Beth Mason (Russ) of Spartanburg; son, Barry Lamb of Spartanburg; and grandchildren, Mackenzie Saverance, Payne Saverance, River Mason, Lily Mason, and Maddux Lamb. She also leaves behind her sister, Sandra Gosnell (Danny) of Inman; sister-in-law, Tina Morgan (Jim) of Inman; and nephews, Adam Gosnell, Tyler Fleming, and Stephen Hadden. 

Visitation will be 9:30-10:45am on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Southport Church, 625 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am, conducted by Rev. James Blackwood.
