Wanda LeBlanc Obituary
Loreauville – Private services will be held at a later date for Wanda Marie LeBlanc, 72, who passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
A resident of Loreauville, Wanda Marie LeBlanc was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on August 13, 1953, to the late Dalton LeBlanc and Mathilde Derouen Girouard. She did numerous jobs throughout her life, including working on the line at Trappey’s, working in the cafeteria at Iberia Parish schools, and cutting grass for the City of New Iberia. She enjoyed cookouts, going to the casino, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Ms. LeBlanc is survived by three children, Theresa LeBlanc Noel, Karen Laporte, and Harold Laporte, Jr.; siblings, Connie LeBlanc, Jerry Boudreaux, Joseph LeBlanc, Randy Derouen, Neil LeBlanc (Amanda); brother-in-law Harold McNette; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Johnnie “Poncho” Owens, Dalton LeBlanc, Jr., Virginia LeBlanc, Theresa LeBlanc, Herbert LeBlanc, Rayette McNette, James LeBlanc, Ricky Derouen; and sister-in-law, Sandra LeBlanc.
