Wanda L. Strothman

STROTHMAN, WANDA L, 95 of Louisville passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Nazareth Home Highlands with her family by her side.
Wanda was a devout Catholic and enjoyed going to mass and praying the rosary. During her free time, Wanda sewed her own clothes, enjoyed traveling and bowling. Wanda was a Business Manager for the Kentucky Department of Mental Health for 34 years. Her job allowed her to provide support for disabled children in need. She enjoyed her job very much.
Wanda believed it was very important to always be compassionate, always work hard and always be kind. She said these things will get you far in life. She followed her own advice and happily lived for 95 years. Everywhere she went she easily made friends and people only had good things to say about her.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Catherine, and her sisters Marilyn Edgar and Patricia Craig. She is survived by her sister Dolores Warren, 11 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and even some great, great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3938 Poplar Level Road with interment to immediately follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Barret at Ellison Avenues.
