Wanda Lee Stroud, age 89, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
Wanda was born July 26, 1934 in Marshall, Arkansas the daughter of the late Alonzo Straight and Viola (Sitton) Straight. On December 16, 1956 she married Roy Lee Stroud and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2005.
Wanda worked as a labor for Tyson Foods for many years. She enjoyed painting, working needle point, walking, and reading. She especially enjoyed reading her Bible, she attended the Springdale Assembly of God church. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother and spending time with family.
Wanda is survived by her loving children; David Stroud, Paul Stroud and wife Tina, and Cathy Laswell; a brother, Leon Straight a sister Juanita Todd; a sister in law Melvia Byrum; and 5 adored grandchildren; Trevor Laswell; Aaron Stroud, Brandon Stroud, Colton Stroud and Quinton Stroud.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers, Oddy and Hugh Straight.
