LaVale, MD- Warren "Dale" Phillips, Jr., 76, of LaVale, MD, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born February 5, 1949 in Montgomery Co, MD, Mr. Phillips was the son of the late Warren Dale Phillips, Sr. and Lenora (Williamson) Phillips. He was also preceded in death by his sister: Nancy Phillips.

Dale graduated from Sherwood High School and attended Montgomery College. He worked at the BP in LaVale for several years and enjoyed sharing stories with all the regulars. Dale loved spending time listening to music, watching Dr. Who and Sci-Fi- movies, playing piano, gardening, and enjoyed good food and telling "his stories".

Dale is survived by his children: Abby Justice; Benjamin Phillips and wife Ashlee; and Matthew Phillips and wife Megan; his brother: John Phillips and wife Robin; his grandchildren: Samuel Justice and wife Erica; Eric Justice and wife Lydia; Michelle Phillips; Jake Rice, Kylee Rice, Hayven Rice, Ellis Phillips, Gage Rice, Benjamin Phillips, and Tripp Phillips; his great-grandchildren: Morgan and Rogue Justice; as well as his nephew: Pasha Phillips; and his niece: Julia Phillips.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at the East End Park Pavilion, 194 McCulloh Street, Frostburg, MD 21532 on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all the care and compassion given.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to offset expenses.
