Our beloved father, Wayland Bradley entered into God's

Kingdom on August 23, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. 2

Timothy 4:7-"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I

have kept the faith. "He now rests in the arms of the Savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty.

Wayland was born to Oscar and Mary Emma Justis Bradley on November 2, 1946. Wayland was a member of Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church of Greeneville and attended as long as his health permitted. He was a graduate of Greeneville High School and was accepted into the United States Naval Academy and was a US Navy Veteran stationed in Iceland, and went on to pursue a degree in Education where he graduated with a Bachelor of Education from East Tennessee State University. After graduating, he pursued his career in teaching at both North Greene High School and Chuckey Doak High School until his retirement. Known as Coach Bradley where over the years he coached football, baseball and softball at both North Greene and Chuckey Doak High School. He also was a avid Amateur radio operator and a member of The Greeneville Radio Club.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Regena Bradley. Two children, Melanie Stills (Pete) and Philip Bradley (Christy). Grandchildren, Logan Stills, Christopher, Addison and Bryson Bradley. Sister Linda Bradley Reaves (Tex) and brother-in-law Joe Smith. Special friends, Paige Reppond, and Tyler and Amber Hatcher and their children Sadie and Kason, and Don and Katherine Mysinger. Several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to staff of Greeneville Community Hospital, Bristol Select Specialty Hospital Durham Hensley Health and Rehab, Amedisys home Health and Hospice and Life Care Center of Greeneville.

Preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Mary Emma Justis Bradley and a sister Sharon Bradley Smith.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 1-3 and 5-7 pm at Jeffers at Afton. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Ealey and Rev. Ross Helton officiating. The Greene County Honor Guard will convey honors at 10 am Wednesday in Graceland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Christopher and Bryson Bradley, George Frye, Marty Jackson, Jason Rush, Tyler Hatcher and Chris Gass. Honorary pallbearers will be Perry "Pete" Cox, and Bobby Gass.
