Wayne Morris Elliott, known affectionately as Wayne to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, in Pittsville, MD. Born on November 12, 1961, in
Salisbury, MD, Wayne's life was a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the warmth of a loving heart.
Wayne grew up in a close-knit family and carried those values of kinship and loyalty throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Samantha Jarvis, his brother Ernest "Buddy" Tubbs, his mother Addola M. Cox, and his father John M. Elliott. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his children, Robb (Tommi) Elliott, Charles (Megan) Elliott, daughters Malina Rodriguez, and Morrisa Elliott. Wayne also leaves behind a legacy through his adored grandchildren, Brooke, Pharra, Harley, Charles, Justin, Catie, Parker, Peyton, and Lizzi, as well as his great-grandchildren, Korbyn, Cayden, Ayla, Legend, Landon, and Addola.
He is survived by his brother John (Lori) Elliott, and sisters Simona (Bobby), Renee (Ray), and Colleen. His extended family includes his many nieces and nephews, with special mentions to Ernest "Buddy" Tubbs III, Jody Littleton, and Shelby Losiewski, along with numerous great nieces and nephews, and countless friends and extended family members, all of whom felt the touch of Wayne's generous spirit.
Wayne was a respected figure in the world of property management as the owner of Elliott's Properties, where his work ethic and commitment to service were evident. He was a man who believed in the spiritual connections that bind us all and lived his life in accordance with those beliefs.
His passions were as varied as they were fulfilling. An avid fisherman, Wayne found solace and joy in the waters that crisscrossed the landscapes he loved. Music was the soundtrack to his life, echoing his moods and milestones. Gaming provided him with endless hours of entertainment and camaraderie. A lover of cars, he appreciated the beauty of a well-crafted machine. Hunting was not just a pastime but a way to connect with nature and the quiet strength it offered.
Wayne's personality was a unique blend of loving kindness, a quick wit that could light up any room, and a courageous spirit that never shied away from life's challenges. His presence was a comfort, his laughter a gift, and his courage an inspiration.
Wayne Morris Elliott's journey on earth may have concluded, but his story will continue to be told through the lives he touched, the memories shared, and the love he spread. His life was well-lived, full of passion, joy, and an unquenchable zest for the experiences that bind us all. He will be deeply missed but remembered with warmth and affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 15, 2025 at 10:00am at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. There will a visitation one hour prior.
