I first met Wayne when he was on the panel for my PIP presentation early in my career. Our paths at GSFC crossed many times over the following decades. I always enjoyed working with him. He gave me the greatest compliment that I have ever received. We ran into each at the entrance to a building where he was escorting a guy from HQ. He introduced me and says, "whatever he says, you can believe." That will stick with me all my days. My sincerest condolences to his family. He will be missed.
