Wayne K. Gunnet

Wayne K. Gunnet, age 82, of Springettsbury Township, passed away at home on December 29, 2022. He was the loving husband of Judith A. (Roush) Gunnet; together they shared over 62 years of marriage.
Wayne was born in Lower Windsor Township on September 12, 1940 and was the son of the late Robert G. Gunnet and Dorothy (Smith) Gunnet. He graduated from Eastern York High School and worked for Caterpillar for over 36 years prior to retiring. He enjoyed, camping, fishing, wood working, and birdwatching. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and cherished the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his wife Judith, he is survived by his children Michael Gunnet and his wife Jennifer and Patricia Hoffmaster and her husband Bruce; 6 grandchildren; and 7 grea- grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Robert Gunnet; his sister Linda Mellinger; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Matthew Gunnet.
A viewing in celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York, 3670 E. Market St., York, PA 17402.
