Wayne will be remembered fondly for his love of family and his delightful sense of humor. He was known for his mischievous grin and his affection for Dad jokes. As a devoted father and grandfather, he cherished watching his children and grandchildren play sports, often stepping in as a coach for their teams. His pride extended to being part of the pit crew for his son Eric's high school band, highlighting his commitment and support for his family's interests.

In addition to his family duties, Wayne was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed various hobbies such as bowling, playing euchre, poker, and other card games. He also had a heartfelt passion for creating surprises that brought joy to those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia; daughter, Denise; son, Eric (Tim Malone); step-sons, Michael Godwin and Jamie Groves; grandsons Caleb Malone, Nicholas Groves, and Tyler Groves; sister, Carol Arbaugh; and many nieces and nephews.
