Wendell was born January 17, 1950 in Anaconda Montana to James and Mable (Fink) Ivie. Wendell was the 7th child of 11.
Wendell married the love of his life Karen Scholmeyer on September 6th 1968 in Salmon Idaho. Together they had 5 children; Rick, Linda, Steve, Wayne, and Wendell Jr.
Wendell was a miner for many years of his life. He loved hunting, fishing, riding horses and sitting around with friends and family telling stories.
Wendell was preceded in death by his father; James Ivie, mother; Mable Fink, step father; Gordan Fink, son; Wayne Ivie, sisters; Helen, Velda, and Aggie. Brothers; Ken, Boyd, Leo, and Leonard.
Wendell is survived by his wife; Karen Ivie, Children; Steve and Stevie of Pinehurst, ID. Wendell Jr. (Pauline) Ivie of Challis, ID. Rick (Darl) Schollmeyer, Park City, MT. and Linda Henderson of Salmon, ID.
His siblings; Fran Glison of Kingston, ID. Marvin Ivie of Park City, MT. Chris Nesbitt of Spokane WA. and Curt Fink of Salmon ID. 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
