Wendell Turner Obituary
Wendell Lee Turner, age 83 of Munfordville passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at his home. He was a member of Munfordville Baptist Church, a former part owner in Hart County Auto Parts, owner/operator of Hart County Motors, and he ran his own milk route for Hart County Creamery. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was the son of he late Wilson Turner and the late Polly Jewell Turner.
He is preceded in death by a son, Rocky Turner; two brothers, James and William Gordon Turner.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janice Mayhill Turner; two sons, Terry Lee Turner, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Barry Wayne Turner, Munfordville, KY; six grandchildren, Hunter, Neveah, Robin, Chris, Raven, and Dalton; five great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends from 4:00- 8:00 PM CT on Friday, October 4, 2024 and again from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM CT on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM CT on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
