Wendy Diane Roberson, 48, of Shannon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in Atrium Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.
Wendy was born in (Langdale) Valley, Alabama on June 26, 1975, the daughter of Teresa Diane Grizzle Hawkins and the late John Daniel Roberson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Dawn Farrell. She was member of the 1995 graduating class of Gordon Central High School and was employed by Georgia Department of Family and Children's Services.
Survivors include, daughter, Ember Milstead of Shannon; mother, Teresa Diane Hawkins; sister, Tammy C. Clark along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Jered Hunsberger, Ian Clark, Tucker Brown, Lamar Ledford, Taber Peters, and Tyler Ray will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 8, between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
