Wendy Rae Wyatt
Age 73 of Philomath, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 22, 2025, with her family by her side.
Born April 27, 1952, Wendy was a daughter of Winford and Elvy (Maze) Comstock. She was raised and educated in Philomath and graduated from Philomath High School with the class of 1970 where she was also crowned Philomath Frolic Queen.
On May 17, 1974, Wendy married Mr. Robert "Bob" Wyatt in Reno, Nevada. Together they made a home and raised their family.
Wendy held many jobs throughout her life. From tending bar to running her own business, as well as working as a US West Phone Operator for several years. She always stayed busy. If Wendy was given a choice though she would have preferred to do her favorite job which was taking care of her family. She truly loved taking care of Bob and her girls. Wendy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Bob Wyatt; daughters: Brenda Wyatt, Christi Sutherland and Debra Mahoney; grandchildren: Kinsey Wyatt Spinney, Justin Wyatt Spinney, Allie Jo Mahoney and Kami Easton; sister and brother-in-law: Edna and Leon Kitchen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wendy was preceded in death by her parents: Winford and Elvy, and brothers: Ron and Willis Comstock.
Per Wendy's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of Wendy's life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Wendy and Bob's home, 25998 Alsea Deadwood Hwy in Alsea. More information will be shared on Facebook.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made as gifts in Wendy's memory to the Wyatt family.
