Wiley Graham Scudder, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025. Born June 10, 1938, he graduated from Emmerich Manual High School where he was a letterman football player. He was a well-loved taxi driver for many years and well known throughout Indianapolis. In his free time, he loved to go the local American Legion posts or VFW and play Gin Rummy with his friends. He was skilled player who went onto become a 3-time Gin Rummy state champion.

He is survived by his brother Paul David Scudder, the mother of his children Dorothy Irene Adkins (Scudder Horton), his children Sonya Dee Scudder (Lowe), Mark Alan Scudder, and Catherine J Halloran, his nieces Ronika Balgobin and Shelly Medina, his grandchildren Sierra Nichole Hungerford (Oxley), Raina Michelle Scudder (Eaton), Michael Graham Lowe, Roland Thomas Scudder, and Rachel Lynn Scudder (Hutchinson), as well as his 5 great-grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leona Rae Holder (Scudder Doty) and Harlie P Scudder, his brother Loren Davis Scudder, and his Daughter Lana Rae Scudder (Hungerford).

A gathering of friends will take place Monday, December 8, 2025, from 12:00p.m. till 2:00 p.m. (All times Eastern Standard) at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center,1202 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46241 Please show your love for Wiley by attending, sending your condolences, or sending flowers.
