Wilfred Ethelbert Reginald Thompson, 71, passed away on January 3, 2025. Born on April 18th, 1954 in Chimborazo, St. Joseph, Barbados W.I., he lived a life of resilience, love, and strength that left a lasting impact on those around him.
Throughout his life, Reggie as he was affectionately called, was known for his generosity, kindness, and deep voice. He was dedicated to being a good steward for his family and community, and his presence brought comfort and inspiration to those who knew him.
He is survived by his sons Phillip Murray, Matthew Thompson and their wives Danielle and Dana; his daughter Charmaine Amey; grandsons Brayden, Ashton, Kingston, and Langston; and sisters Oneta, Vilma, and Emmy. He was preceded in death by his mother Miriam Edwards and father Eustis Augustus Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. in Rochester, NY on Saturday, January 11th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity or cause in his memory.
Reggie will be remembered for his unwavering strength and the profound love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
