On Saturday November 15th William Nolan Crawford left this world peacefully, surrounded by love after a brave fight with carcinoma. He was born December 8th 1943 to Robert and Lucilla Crawford.
A graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Bill was drafted during the Vietnam Era and served as a tank commander stationed in Germany. He returned home to Cuyahoga Falls and met the love of his life Marilyn Mueller to whom he was married for 38 years. He was a strong, caring and thoughtful man. His character was unquestionable. He spent the majority of his productive years defending our country and protecting the citizens of Cuyahoga Falls and was an outstanding police officer and detective. He was well respected by his peers as well as the judges he appeared before. He was a strong role model for all and always placed truth and honesty in the highest regard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Robert Casey Crawford, Ruth Gracie Fohner and James McGee. Also eagerly awaiting reunification is his beloved wife Marilyn and grandson Thaddeus.
He leaves behind to carry on his legacy his son Billy (Kim) Crawford and daughter Christine (Brian and daughters) Crawford. Grandchildren Amanda (Scott), Andrea (Samuel) , Trew (Aleks), Madison (Jake), Jensen, Autumn, Isabelle, and Khloe. Great grandchildren Emery, Melody, Nikola, Elliot, Mateo, Parker, Milana, Elijah and Luka.
