William Covie Garner, Jr. (Buddy), age 67, of Jackson, died November 22, 2024, at his home with his family nearby. He was preceded in death by his Mother, having died in a car wreck when he was 2, his Father, and his only brother, William Aaron Garner (Hank). He and Hank were raised by their grandmother who also preceded him in death.
Buddy worked for Bemis Cotton Mill for many years and was proud of that heritage. He was retired when he went from this world to the next, enjoying his grandchildren and his motorcycle during that time.
Buddy was the husband of Erin Renee Garner for 33 years; the father to five children, Jeremy Clynn Garner (Maria), William Covie Garner, III, Kelly Marie Moore (David), Shea Andrew Garner (Teresa), and Dylan Wayne Garner; Papaw to twenty grandchildren, Anthony Garner, Aaron Garner, Victorya Garner, Elisabeth Garner, Micah Garner, Isaiah Garner, Bubba Garner, Cameron Franklin, Jadelyn Garner, Danika Garner, Rain Garner, Chance Garner, Ana Martin, Jax Garner, Levi Garner, Judah Garner, Benjamin Garner, Luke Garner, Jesse Moore, and Aysen Garner; Great Papaw to Emma Garner and Serenity Garner; uncle to Samantha Garner Wood and Celina Parrish Hollimon; brother-in-law to Kimberly Parrish (Tony),Eric DeCruz and Michael Delaney.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Beech Bluff Pentecostal Church.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at the church.
