William Hutras Obituary
He was born on November 25, 1924 in Dover, and was a son of the late Aristotle and Maude Edwards Hutras. William was also preceded in death by his brothers, Louis, Harry Jr., Alex Hutras; sisters, Opal (Norm) Chadrue and Mary Jane (Jim) Judy.
William proudly served his country during WW II. He was the owner of William Hutras Builders in Dover, having retired in 2014 after 57 years in business. William was a hard worker who enjoyed being with his family.
A wonderful and caring husband, father and grandfather, William is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara L. Shaw Hutras whom he married on October 3, 1954; sons, Bill (Susan) Hutras of Dublin, Brian (Linda) Hutras of Dover, Chris (Lynda) Hutras of Granville; brother, Tom (Mary Lou) Hutras of Dover; grandchildren, Wills, Evan, Natalie, Vanessa, Louis, Jackson, Sophia, Chris, Peter; sisters in law, Clara Hutras of Dover and Rita Hutras of California.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. The family will be receiving friends at the Dover funeral home on Saturday, February 26th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. There are no services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice at 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
