WILLIAM "BILL" J. JAWORSKI, 81, of Louisville, passed on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Norton Audubon Hospital. Born in Chicago, Bill retired from the L & N Railroad and from the Jeffersontown Public Works.
He was preceded in death by his Parents Anthony and Elizabeth Jaworski.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years the former Ruth Karen Boland; His children James Jaworski (Staci), Jeffery Jaworski, and Kristin Meyer (Chris); Grandchildren Nic Meyer (Ferren), Amanda Mathieson (Charlie), Tony Meyer (Olivia), Billy Jaworski, Allison Jaworski, Dylan Jaworski (Madison), and Abigail Jaworski; Great-Grandchildren Bryce Robel, Brenton Robel, Macy Meyer, Beckett Robel, Brooks Meyer, JJ Meyer, Teddy Mathieson, and Bentley Meyer.
He was an avid bowler, even bowling a perfect 300 game. Some of his favorite times were spent at Nolin Lake with his family and friends. In his later years, he really enjoyed relaxing on his deck with his dog Penny.
There will be a Graveside Service 2 pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at St Edward Catholic Cemetery on Billtown Rd.
Donations may be made to Hospice or the American Heart Association.
