William John Mangon, 72, of Dennison, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover. Born January 11, 1951 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Mary Mabel (Casagranda) Mangon. Bill was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Stark Technical College. He was a master mechanic and a coal miner for many years. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, and could always be found tinkering on vehicles.
Bill's surviving family includes his daughter, Nicole Marie Carr of Glendale, Arizona; siblings, Gary Mangon, Lillian (Robert) Wilson, and Jean Jenkins; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Bob Wade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Paul Mangon.
According to his wishes, cremation is planned without public services. He will be interred in St. Mary's Cemetery near Dennison on a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
