William Edward McCarroll

William Edward "Ed" McCarroll was born June 4, 1957 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of the late George Henry McCarroll and Doris Joyce Young McCarroll. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Hurley McCarroll who preceded him in death. He is survived by his two children, Kathy Helton and husband Gary and Shawn Gannon all of East Bernstadt; one brother, Cliff McCarroll and wife Maria of Canada; three grandchildren, Jack Helton (Becca) of Louisiana, Shawna Jones (Jared) and Cierra Gannon both of East Berntstadt; five great-grandchildren, Allison, Haegan, Waylon, Copelan, and Averie; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents and wife he is also preceded in death by his brother, James Benjamin McCarroll.
William Edward "Ed" McCarroll departed this life Sunday, March 9, 2025 being 67 years, 9 months, and 5 days of age.
The funeral services for William Edward "Ed" McCarroll will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Josh Durham and Jack Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Andes Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky.
The family of William Edward "Ed" McCarroll will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home beginning at 12 Noon Thursday until the service hour of 1:00 p.m.
