William "Bill" Pagen, of Beverly Hills, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Sterling Heights, at the age of 95. He was born on August 20, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Katherine (Chicka) and Thomas Pagen.

Bill met the love of his life, Emily, in high school, and married in 1948. They cherished a full life together focused on family and faith. They were married 74 years.

Bill was a kind and gentle father, a model of strength and fairness to his children Bill and Renée. He was respected, admired, and deeply loved. He will be sadly missed.

Relationships and meaningful connections were the fabric of his life. From his early days in the army, as public relations manager at Chrysler and General Dynamics, and as a community advocate, Bill maintained friendships wherever he went.

Bill was always driven to seek greater knowledge and a formal education. He was an exemplary student through high school and acquired his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from the University of Detroit. A passion for reading extended throughout his life as a primary means of relaxation and satisfaction.

Bill is survived by his daughter Renée MacDougall (Pagen), his son William "Bill" Pagen, as well as his beloved grandchildren Audrey MacDougall Wimmer, Daniel MacDougall, Peter MacDougall, Nicklas Pagen, Thomas Pagen, Jonathan Pagen, and Miranda Pagen. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Anselm Wimmer, Ruth MacDougall, and Isla MacDougall.

A Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 1368 N. Crooks Road, Clawson (between 14 and 15 Mile Road), on Tuesday, August 19, from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Mass to honor Bill's life will be celebrated at St. Lucy's Croatian Catholic Church, 200 Wattles Road, Troy, on Wednesday, August 20, at 10:30am. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 10:00am.

Bill will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
