The family of William Dennis Suits announces his passing on November 16, 2022 after a three year battle with Lou Gehrig's disease/ALS.
Dennis was born at Scott Air Force Base in 1956 to William Francis Suits and Dorothy Mae Oglesby. He is survived by his wife Wendy Suits and his sons Joshua A Suits, Markus. A Knee, Mitchell Knee, father Bill and his brother David. Dennis is predeceased by his mother.
Dennis retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service as a Master Sergeant. He served as an Aerospace Medical Services Craftsman at the 118th Medical Wing in Nashville,TN.
Dennis was an avid fan and supporter of University of Tennessee football and a man of many hobbies to include: woodworking, fishing, writing music, and in his later life, his grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Nashville VA and the Alvin C York VA hospital for their exceptional and personalized care of Dennis and his family during his treatment.
A celebration of Dennis' life will be held on Saturday November 19, 2022 at 10 AM at the Giles Creek Baptist Church, located at 7084 Rocky Fork Rd., Smyrna TN 37167.
As requested by Dennis, all attendees please wear orange and white in support of his beloved UT Vols.

You can only reflect back on the good times of the joy he brought to so many people, Dennis loved his country and his family. Dennis will be greatly missed and may his spirit RIP.
