William Ivan "Bill" Tegethoff

William Ivan "Bill" Tegethoff, 45, of Pittsburgh, died Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Born January 22, 1981, in Latrobe, he was the son of Eric John and Julie Anne Perfetti Tegethoff.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two children, Daniel William Tegethoff, age 13 and Clara Margaret Tegethoff, age 10; and three siblings, David J. Tegethoff, Erica A. Chawla, and Stephen P. Tegethoff. He was predeceased by his brother, James Victor Tegethoff, on April 4, 2019.

William earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Slippery Rock University. He worked as an Insurance Broker.

He enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, hockey, and taking his children to parks to swim, fish, and play. Bill ran The Rock Falls Open, a yearly golf outing of family and friends, which helped honor his brother James' memory. He also played in an adult amateur hockey league. The team's name, Perfetti Boots, was in honor of his maternal grandparents.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday February 11th at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte, PA.

Burial will be at Meyer Cemetery.
