William Robert “Bill” Thomas, Jr., age 80 of Dandridge, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
He was a US Navy veteran, and retired from a career as a press operator. An avid gun enthusiast, Bill loved target shooting. He also loved fishing and feeding the ducks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Sr.) & Mildred Thomas; and an infant brother. He is survived by the mother of his children, and caregiver, Phyllis Bier; daughters, Sandra Dee & Barbara Jean Thomas; grandchildren, John Russell Baxter, Sam, Emily, & Erika Donnelly, Anthony & Timothy Thomas; and great-grandson, Joshua Parker Thomas.
Per his wishes, Mr. Thomas was cremated with no official services planned. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donation to the veteran’s charity of your choice.
